At King's Arms we are always working towards building family with each other and one way we do this is through groups. Our groups run on a 6-month cycle and open for sign-up twice a year, during spring and autumn. We also have a few groups that are open all year round, such as our Belong group for newcomers.

Azalea: Praying for & supporting those in situations of sex trafficking
WEDNESDAY EVENING MONTHLY
A group for men and women to pray for and support local individuals in situations of sex trafficking. We are partnering with the charity Azalea (https://www.azalea.org.uk/) to seek God’s heart for this issue and to work towards starting a project in Bedford. There will be the opportunity to attend training for frontline volunteering in the future. We meet monthly on a Wednesday evening to pray but have additional times and opportunities too. Beauty for Ashes brings Hope to the Hopeless. This is a group for women to be empowered with the truth of Father God’s love towards them. Enabling them to receive truth about their identity, receive inner healing, restoration and transformation : allowing them to walk in freedom and their purpose. On a Sunday, we will lead the church service at Yarl’s Wood Immigration Centre and have the opportunity to spend time after the service with the women.

Worthy is the Lamb! Getting to know Jesus better through his titles in the Bible
This course is designed to help us to come into a fuller appreciation of the endless riches which are in Christ. We will consider all the major titles of Christ in the New Testament, plus a few from the Old Testament.
For each we will consider its meaning and significance when it was first given. We will then discuss how this title should encourage us to pray better, to worship better, and to witness better. In addition we will also share prayer requests and pray for one another each week.
