SUPPORT

Living with Long-term Illness
This support group is a place for anyone living with long-term illness or still living under a consequence from their illness.
Ultimately we aim to support you with moving forward with the rest of your life, one day at a time and help you to be part of the full church community. It will be a place where you can come and be listened to for both the hard things about illness and the things of hope, grace, healing and moving forward.
The group meets at 7.30 pm on the last Thursday of each month. Please contact us for more information.
SOZO

Sozo is a Greek word meaning to save, heal, deliver and preserve. Sozo ministry is not a counselling session but a time of interacting with Father God, Jesus and Holy Spirit for wholeness and pursuit of your destiny.
Sozo is a one-off session. It is a quick ministry and aims to connect you with God (the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) by dealing with the hurts of the past that stop you from knowing Him. Sessions can run from one and and a half to three hours and are conducted by two team members. The Sozo team leader will guide you through prayers of forgiveness, help you to identify and break free from the lies and wounds that have affected you and help you to connect with God. The seconder will write down the promises you hear from God so you can take them away with you. You will need to be willing to be pro-active in sharing pictures God may give you in the prayer time and to expect God to speak to you.
To apply for Sozo you need to fill in the this online application form. There is a short waiting list.
Freedom Stream Groups
Often when people are struggling with areas of their life they can be tempted to disconnect or withdraw from those around them. However these are the times that we really need to push into community and connect with God and with others and to find a place where we can open up about what’s going on and find support and breakthrough. For this reason we have started 3 new groups that run under the name Freedom Stream.
Freedom Stream - Keys to Freedom (Autumn Term)
This group provides a safe space for you to let down your guard and to be open about what you are struggling with. We have a team who are experienced in praying for people who will be available to pray with those that attend the group. We cover the main key tools for getting free such as breaking agreement with lies, processing anger and pain and forgiveness. This is delivered through personal prayer, teaching, encountering God and small group discussions.
Freedom Stream - Going Deeper (Spring Term)
This group is for those that want to pursue their freedom with God at a greater depth. It will run very similarly to the above group however we will focus on more specific areas of struggle such as anxiety, emotional health, spiritual authority and disappointment
Freedom Stream - Leading Others (Summer Term)
We would love the see the whole church released to pray for one another and lead each other through to freedom over a coffee or a dinner. This group will equip those that attend with the main tools for ministering to those that are struggling. We would love to see this as a key part of our one anothering.
These groups will be on a rolling yearly schedule running each term - if you want to join any of these groups then you can do so via the group sign up at the beginning of each term.
Freedom Appointments
Freedom Appointments
Freedom Appointments are for those who are regular attenders of the King’s Arms Church. A Freedom Appointment consists of two sessions of focussed prayer and therefore those attending need to come with a clear idea of what they need prayer for. Application for a freedom appointments can be made via the website and will be assessed on an individual basis - we may recommend attending a Freedom Stream Group before a Freedom appointment is set up.
You can apply for a Freedom appointment via this Online Application Form.
